After being out in the rain for so long with the ducks, I caught a cold. Bibimbap said I should go see a movie to make myself feel better, so yesterday I went off campus to the theater and watched a documentary about rich people. I like movie theaters because they remind me of home. I guess the theater is set up a lot differently from the one at home, but once the light goes down none of that matters. Once the light goes down, the theater is the theater, and it’s where I can go and forget my own reality for two hours and enter someone else’s.

I like movie theaters because they’re all the same as the one back home.

I am a long way from home.
